Treasured connections to CS Lewis

Thursday 6th June

4pm – 6:30pm

St Mark’s Dundela

St. Mark’s Church, Dundela is celebrated for its architectural and artistic heritage, and in particular for its treasured connections to CS Lewis. Join the National Churches Trust in Belfast, where Dr David Caron will showcase the stained-glass work of Irish artist Michael Healey (1873-1941), An Túr Gloine’s stained glass pioneer. Dr Caron will highlight the window commissioned by CS Lewis, exploring the intricate details and symbolism embedded within this luminous work of art and the thematic elements depicted reflecting CS Lewis’s profound spiritual and philosophical insights.

Enjoy a delightful wine reception amidst the beauty of the stained glass and engaging conversations exploring artistic, literary, and spiritual dimensions within the elegance of St Mark’s.
